Will these Hens clock what’s really going on…

Going to a Hen party in a few weeks time and it’s an all day event in London with a brunch, scavenger hunt and games followed by dinner / night out…

I will be 11 weeks pregnant and not sure whether to tell anyone - I wouldn’t mind my close friends knowing, but the wider group will be about 20 other people, most of whom I know but not that well and I can’t deal with all the questions / excited comments when I still feel really nervous about the pregnancy. Let alone if something bad were to happen and I had to face them all at the wedding…

I had a miscarriage last year and have been very anxious during my pregnancy so far… I had a reassurance scan at 7 weeks and saw the heartbeat but I’d be reluctant for anyone outside my close network to know until the 20 week mark…

So I don’t really know what to do… if I tell a couple of my close friends beforehand and “fake drink” (as most people will see through the antibiotics cover story) I’d also be lumbered with part of the bill for drinks which we’ve already been told will be split between drinkers and non-drinkers… have others been in a similar situation and what would you suggest?

I haven't been in this situation but I hope someone who has will respond. Personally I'd say don't tell them if you're not comfortable. They don't need to know. It will be a nice surprise ❤️

Can you drive, or say you are driving very early the next morning for work therefore can't drink. Can you say you are driving someone to an appointment the next day (elderly relative, colleague, friend etc) and need to ensure their safety.
Antibiotics story is a good one but, you say they may see through it. Can you take a picture of the packet (find a pic online) and ask them if they think it's ok to drink on these, tell them Dr said don't. Whatever their response, you then have 'proof' of the antibiotics and can say you decided not to.
