I took a test yesterday and it was positive. I don't know what to do next. I don't have anyone I can talk too 🙁

Hi OP ignore the troll . My advice is to call BPAS and they can talk you through all your decision making and support you .X

You can do it all over the phone. Just ring them up for a chat and they will be able to advise. They can also send you the pills needed to terminate if necessary.

It's a huge thing to have to deal with by yourself-please do try and talk to someone. You don't have to continue with the pregnancy if you don't want to of course but could it be a bit of a knee-jerk reaction? Talking it through with a counsellor could help clarify your own mind. Hand hold from me x

@ShinyHappyTits I don't think it is a knee jerk reaction but I just can't think clearly at the moment. I'm only 16 I wouldn't cope with a baby on my own. I feel so scared.

Hey, just sending another message of support to you OP. Whatever you decide to do it is your choice. There's usually no rush, so take your time and try to find some real life support, whether that's a friend or family member or one of the helplines mentioned.

Do go and see your Gp if you can, they will be able to talk it through with you. And I promise you there will be no judgement from the professionals whatever your decision.

Oh and don't feel you have to discuss it with the potential other partner if it might put you in danger. It is your decision.

You are strong. You can cope with this. Sending you un-mumsnetty hugs. 💐

Hi OP, sorry your thread has been derailed. We've deleted a couple of posts which broke our Talk Guidelines (and have removed several others which quoted the deleted post). We've also moved your thread to our Pregnancy Choices topic, which is a more sensitive place for it.

Hopefully it will get back on track now.

Sorry OP for partly detailing your thread.

Is there anyone at all you can talk to irl?

ShatteredMum23 · 05/08/2023 17:21

OP, I have reported this. Not because I disagree, but because it may be better in Pregnancy choices where you won't get so many vile replies x

Contact your GP as they’ll be able to support you with organising a termination if that’s what you want. You need to make the right choice for you and ignore what anyone else says who doesn’t have your best interests at heart.

@Dustycloth I don't want anyone to know, I don't want my Dad to find out.

Do you know how many weeks you are OP?

Hi, can you tell us a little more info so we can support you?
How old are you?
Do you know who to talk to for professional advice? You can contact your GP or 111 for further tests/scans to confirm, and they can advise you on the options available to you. They'll also give you time and comfort to make the decision.

Are you safe at home?

You can talk to us, no judgement x

@Ladyoftheknight I've just turned 16 and I live with my Dad, he will be mad if he finds out I'm pregnant.
I am going to try and get a GP appointment on Monday.

Thank you to everyone for your help and support

I was pregnant at 19 and assumed my parents would be furious. They were upset but incredibly supportive. My story turned out with me having my DD but I would have wanted the support either way.
