Ok so I think I'm pregnant. A bit of back story, I have 3 beautiful DC already who we never thought we would have due to fertility issues. I can't take birth control because I have reacted quite badly to everything they have tried to put me on. DH is currently on the waiting list for the snip but it's taking a while because of the pandemic.
We had sex about 3 weeks ago and I just randomly bought a test today because ive felt quite sick the last few days. We did use protection at the time so I wasn't worried anything would happen (I know it's not 100%)
I don't get periods because I have endometriosis and a few other things so my only way to ever check is to do a test.
Anyway did the test tonight, well ive done 2, and it looks like a very faint positive.
I am in no way able to have another child at the moment (well, ever really) I had severe complications in my last pregnancies, plus ive just started a university course and am finally getting my career back on track.
My question is what happens now? Ive never been in this situation so I don't know what I do or who I ask for help? Please be kind

Hi @needadviceplease3,
Sorry you are in this situation, but I’d wait till a confirmed positive. Take another test in a few days.x

You can either go to your GP who will refer you, or you can call Marie Stopes or BPAS directly and they will arrange an appointment at one of their clinics. They will check your gestation and discuss your options re a medical or surgical termination.

Good luck.

Thank you for your responses, I will do another test in a couple of days to make sure and then contact one of those mentioned x

I found BPAS very unhelpful when I was unexpectedly pregnant. They just said they didn’t operate in my area and I wasn’t entitled to NHS funding.

NUPAS were really kind, and very helpful, and NHS funded. I didn’t end up going down that route, but everyone I spoke to at NUPAS was lovely

Sorry that you had that experience @Derbee

Bpas/ MSI/ Nupas/ Freighter Drive - have absolutely no say in where the CCG awards it's finances to - so if you live in a particular region awarded to one of the above - that is where your treatment will be funded by the NHS
If you choose to go with another , it becomes private and 99% of the time would have to pay
