Indulge me in a moan please!

I am only 4+3 and already I have had/still have:
-A 3 day headache
-Dizzy/lightheaded spells
-Insomnia
-Desperately tired
-Worsening nausea
-Night sweats (drenched the bed! )
-A brief flirtation with constipation that sent me dashing for branflakes & an extra pint of water...
-Extremely thirsty
-Constant weeing (see above)

Feeling a little depressed and worried that I will prove to be one of those people who is Not Very Good At Being Pregnant

Also having that dawning realisation that it will only get worse. And there will be blood tests (total needle wuss) And then there's birth as well. I want a baby, I really do, I just hadn't quite thought this part through!

I'm not alone am I??

Thank you everyone for your kind words and encouragement that it generally gets better! Sorry so many of you are finding it miserable as well.

I actually feel much better today, had a good night's sleep and changed what I had for breakfast and managed to get by without feeling sick. Result!

Hope things improve for us all. Worst case scenario is it's only until 40 weeks...

Well may be 42, but that is definitely worst case! Good luck

Pregnancy is a pile of poo. I felt like you did the whole of my first trimester and part of my second. I felt fat, my skin broke out, I couldn't fit into my clothes, my boobs grew overnight, I felt car sick every single day all day, I was tired and was constantly worried something was going to happen to the baby.

But now I am almost 21 weeks and am feeling 100% better. I almost have no nausea, I am exercising at the gym most days, I now have a proper pair of maternity trousers and some nice maternity wear so feel much better. Plus on the weekend I learnt I am having a baby boy and we saw him in 3D and he is just gorgeous. So....all the suffering and waiting of the first 20 weeks was well worth it.

Of course, things could go to shit again as I move into the third trimester and I could be feeling rubbish again. I just found counting down the weeks and day dreaming about names and baby stuff helped the time pass.

I hate being pregnant - can't believe DH has tricked me into it again, it's all his fault

I'm 17+3 and I do feel a lot better than I did up until now! I get crippling tiredness and a bit of morning sickness and the sickness has now gone. Tiredness is still a bit of an issue and it never really went away for me last time but I think it's more to do with the heat at the moment.

Hope you feel better!

emmy that's lovely, congratulations on your little boy. Bet you can't wait to meet him!
