I have 2 weddings to go to in july when ill be 6 months pregnant and in need of some not-so-frumpy maternity dresses! Every website i seem to find just has boring old knee length or below the knee dresses which are just not me.

i want something not too short but not quite as long as knee length...somewhere inbetween! think 24 year old Mummy sort of style! - whatever that is!

does anyone know of any really nice maternity wear websites i could take a look at? iv tried all the usual - next/blooming marvellous/mammas and papas etc - asos have a few but nothing that jumps out so any suggestions would help!
i dont want to be the frumpy pregnant lady at the wedding!

Have you tried:-

Crave
Tiffany Rose
Seraphine
Cecily Plum

I found something for a wedding on Cecily Plum and have just worn a Crave dress for a hen night, though I am a bit older so not sure if they still qualify as yummy mummy styles!

Second Isabella Oliver; some beautiful stuff. And you might like Formes too. Just bear in mind that at 6 months you might not want to be showing lots of leg if you have a tendency to put weight on in that area

If you don't want knee length have you thought about maxi?

I bought this Seraphine dress for a July wedding when I'll also be 6mths. (And I've just noticed doing that link that it's now on sale - damn!!)

I know it doesn't look that dressy on the website, but with sparkly diamante flats and a silver bolero cardi and earrings etc it does actually look very glam and grecian goddess-esque (well as close to goddess-like as I'm going to get anyway ).

I've just bought a dress off Ebay (from Hong Kong) for my nephew's (and godson's) christening at the end of July when I'll be 28/40. It's a long maxi dress type but they do a variety of lengths and styles. The seller was 'dressupnow'. It only cost me £19 all in. I was sceptical and a bit nervous but thought it wasn't a lot of money to loose if it were no good. As it turns out it arrived in just over a week and is really quite nice. Fits well and is of OK quality given the price and that I'll only wear once or twice.

Only thing I would say about shorter dresses is...once your bump gets quite big then the dress will kind of held out at the front by your bump - therefore exposing your knickers! That's the reason that shortish maternity dresses are hard to find!
