Have we decided that it is? I always want camembert baked in a box. If this can be part of my 'get fat and wear tight clothes to show how fat I am' pregnancy prerogative then I'm going to be soooo happy!!!!

I crave blue cheese at times so I buy my own and cook it thru make a lovely sauce or dip and savour every minute!! I wouldnt eat it or brie out in restaurants tho as i find they are rarely cooked through thoroughly. I live by the sea and eat shellfish to my hearts desire too but again as long as I know its been well cooked etc.

www.nhs.uk/chq/Pages/2683.aspx?CategoryID=54&SubCategoryID=216 - this is what I've found on the NHS website.
So for anyone who comes across this thread, (like I did), wanting to know if cooked cheeses would be safe then please take a look at the link :) .

I've eaten it throughout my pregnancy, just make sure that it's piping hot all the way through

Thorough cooking should kill any bacteria, so it should be safe to eat cooked soft cheeses or dishes that contain them, such as baked brie or deep-fried camembert. Hard blue cheeses such as stilton are safe to eat without cooking.
