That would give you a nice, respectable 19 months age gap, go get busy :-)

Am currently 4m preg w no 2, dd is 13 mnths old. Go for it!

I have that age gap. DS2 is now 8.5 weeks and it is all going pretty well, if I do say so myself . DS1 has been very good - he loves his little brother, is generally delighed to see him and tries to give him lots of cuddles and kisses and share his toys with him. So I say go for it!

I was broody when dd was about 10 DAYS old

Started trying again when she was 6 months old, it took 16 months to get pg again though, so don't assume it would happen immediately (though I do know a large amount of people who got pg straight away second time round...just not me!)

What does your DH say?

I would probably give it a couple of months to make sure it's not just passing broodiness.

What kind of gap were you planning?

In my head we were going to have a nice 3.5 year gap but I started wondering about that when DD1 was around 10 months. Eventually started taking chances "oh I'll never get pregnant while breastfeeding" etc. Have 22 month gap, which so far is great.

We have a 17 month gap (unplanned) - I can't really remember the first 6 months with two babies, but after that it was/is fab (mostly)

We tried when dd1 was 10mths,caught straight away with dd2 so theres a 19mth age gap and it's great, they are now 3 and 5 and are so close and entertain each other,dd2 was a great baby though and slept through from day one so that made it easier,i also had no doubts about trying and dh was 100% in agreement, good luck

I think it is REALLY common around that stage. Not for me, I hasten to add, but I have loads of friends who either do plan or don't plan to have more kids, but their babies are 9 months and they are just loving this cute stage and feel super broody.

mine is going to be 17 months when his little bro/sis is born and I'm wondering how I'll cope but i think short term it'll be tough, long term great, i think if your planning another at some point get it done sooner rather than later : )
