Does SPD always get worse?

I seem to have the onset of SPD (well, actually had it for a while), not officially diagnosed but pretty sure and seeing a physio on Monday. Basically for a few months have had a burning pain in my fanjo when I walk too far, and now when I walk it has started to feel like I have a blunt stake being shoved into my pubic area, plus when I have exerted myself, then I stop I feel like an old lady, my body seizes up.

So far it is mostly uncomfortable and frustrating rather than unbearable (although at one stage I thought I was going to have to sleep with an ice pack between my legs as my pelvis was burning so much!). I am 26 weeks. Is it going to get worse? Might it just stay at the level it is at now?

It is not helped by the fact that we are moving house weekend after next and this weekend is DD's birthday and party and I have so much to do.

Just wondering if I should expect it to worsen.

Mine started at around 20 weeks, not every day just when I'd been standing for too long. It didn't get worse until a few weeks before my due date when I had luckily finished work. Before that it was just every few days. After the birth for about a week and a half I literaly could not walk at all, I couldn't sit down either. I had to lie down most of the time. 2 and a half weeks after the birth it's almost gone it just feels like it's pulling. The only advice I can give you if you don't want it to get worse is don't try to "push past" the pain as that makes it worse. If you have a painful day you need to rest (not always easy I know) because you will make it worse.

Thanks for the replies. Once I get this move out of the way it will be easier to relax.
