Feel faint and dizzy 2 day - do not want to go to work but its not really a good enough reason is it?

I'm 5 months, woke up today feeling like shit basically and feel worse as day goes on, feel all dizzy, light headed and faint.

In the first 12 wks of my pregnancy I took 3 seperate off for morning sickness and don't want to take the piss.

Phoning up to say I feel faint is not really a valid reason is it?

probably not, what type of work do you do? are you on your feet all day?

nymphadora · 14/06/2010 13:21

Depends what work you do.

Erm, yes, I think it is. In fact, you should have phoned your midwife or gp to have your blood pressure checked. You don't want to be fainting while getting to or from work.

pregnancy is not a time to take any chances - your body tells you when you are doing too much and you need to listen to it.

I got a stern talking to from my GP for trying to do too much.

if your a driver i'd say you actually need to phone in, not good feeling bad behind the wheel

Definitely phone in then see the nicest GP at your practice. I don't mean this in an unsympathetic way but I don't want other drivers on the road in your condition!

Do not drive dizzy! It risks too many things.
