I'm 25 weeks, and the majority of my knickers are now proving to be too uncomfortable round the waist, to the point of making me want to throw up!

Last pg, I ended up in paper knickers for the last month or so, but I'm getting by with thongs at the moment... (long may it last!)

At what point in your pg did you find this, and what did you wear to be more comfortable?

I found (and am already in them this time round) the M&S seamless shorts/knickers really comfy as they don't have an elastic band around the top. I've also got some huuugeeee cheap Sainsbury/Tesco knickers from last time round (had c sect so needed ultra comfy big pants) which are actually quite comfy as they are about 8 sizes too big for me, but then you do end up with a rather baggy backside!!!

I wear my dp's jersey trunk boxers - some reach all the way over the bump and some I sit right below it - but they're nice and soft and comfortable.

He has been moaning that I've stretched out the elastic on a couple of his favourite pairs though (I recommend H&M ones - enclosed elastic is better than the ones like calvin kleins).

My MIL was horrified when I mentioned it.

These from M&S are brilliant - v soft, comfy, don't dig in. I have them in a size larger than I would normally buy (am 22 wks ATM).

Look for pants with wide elastic at the waistband, they seem to be the most comfy.

In my case (after the birth but would have been comfy before, as well) this meant the most ridiculously flowery granniest type pants I'd ever seen (they had them for sale in the hospital shop, and I'd forgotten to pack the ones I'd bought from tesco) but my God, they were comfy, and they contained the maternity pads fantastically well.

I had such the same problem!
I am an over bump wearer and got these FAB knickers from an ebay seller

I think you can search for the seller on ebay, or search for maternity knickers.
I had to cut the label out of them as it itched me, but these have seen me right through and I plan to wear them after till bleeding stops - got to have a C Sect so perfect to not touch the scar.

I am a size 12 and have got the extra large tho so they come up small, hope your bottom fits them. But they are very very stretchy.
The mothercare ones were utter crap and not worth the money, don't go there.

My first two pgcies I wore the most massive over-the-bump maternity knickers. They were very thin, very stretchy, jersey cotton. Italian, I think, but bought in the US. Very comfortable. Under-the-bump weren't comfortable - they felt like I was getting front wedgie IYSWIM, and they allowed my clothes to brush over my bump and irritate it.

But in my last pgcy, when I was bigger than I have ever been, I wore my regular knickers throughout. They didn't bother me one bit. They were M&S high-legs.

I may still have some of my otb knickers, if you want them. What size are you?
