I can't drive!

I am 30 and can't drive, had some lessons in my early 20's but didn't finish as I moved to London, worked long hours and didn't really need a car.

However, I am now 3 months pregnant with twins and think I will really struggle without passing my driving test.

Do you think I'll be able to learn in time?, is it safe learning whilst pregnant? will I have concentration issues?

Any advice gratefully received

I started to learn to drive in first pregnancy and never got around to doing test , and gave up for 2 years. And I have now recently passed at about 31 weeks in my 2nd pregnancy, after 3 months lessons (age 37), - hoorah! The best bit is being able to drive places without struggling with buses / steep hills when heavily pregnant.

One recommendation I would make though, first time round i did cheapo lessons with a local instructor. I didn't get very far. This time i splashed out on AA lessons, and found them so much more motivating and structured - although my teacher was a bit of a slave driver, and I wept several times (bit of an expensive melt down at £24 an hour..) , but agaisnt the odds I passed first time, and feel so relieved. Good luck with it!
