1st timer, 5 weeks, age 44, pregnant from egg donation

I think I must be an unusual case. Hoping I might 'meet' a few people on here that share at least one of my unusual features.

Found out a week ago that so far egg donation has been succesful, but but its very early days.

Expected to feel elated and happy, but Im just feeling grumpy and worried all the time. I guess its just because this baby was so hard fought for, and now its just down to me and baby to make it work. Very worried.

Please say 'hi', even if your not an egg recipient like me.

Just come back from having my scan (Im 6 weeks now)- saw the 'splodge' on the screen and heard the teeny tiny heartbeat. How sweet!

oh and there's just one in there!

Hi tyro22 I to am 5 weeks with egg donation age 45. I know exactly what your going through, this is my first time on here so you might have to bare with me lol, Iv got my 6 week scan to check everything fine but I'm constantly worried it might fail, would love to even buy just a bib but so scared to ????
