Hi everyone,

I have been looking at information on boosting fertility and thing's that can help whist TTC.

I have also noticed since looking through thread's it's a very common question, so i thought i would start one where woman can share there tip's, idea's or just genreal knowledge that they may have, i will start with what i know ..

  1. the obvious vitamins
  1. i swear by the bum in the air afer sex.
  1. hubby taking zinc
  1. i have heard pineapple juice is supposed to be good??? not sure on that one.
  1. also green tea? also would like to know if thats true
  1. high calcium diet.

That'a all i can think of, and will be teying this month .. anybody else??

Don't believe in 'relax'. If there's something wrong that is stopping you conceiving the relax advice is patronising and unhelpful. Besides it's impossible to truly forget about ttc (imo) when you have been trying for some time. Eliminating stress might be useful, as has already been said, and trying to ensure ttc is not the focus of your life (easier said than done), but I don't think 'relaxing' in itself is a cure. It just makes people feel bad, as if they're not relaxing enough, when in reality they just need to ovulate a decent egg, have sex with husband in that period, and hope a good sperm penetrates said egg. I went on holiday, got drunk, did plenty of relaxing, but nothing helped until I had IVF. Ahem.

Learn to recognise your body's signs of when it's ovulating, is what I'd advise. Read up on the different types of cervical mucus, etc. Don't be afraid to go to the doctor after a year, but before that don't panic about infertility.

Insert a mooncup after sex, and have sex EVERY other day from as soon after your period as possible to the end of the cycle.
