Has/is anyone going to use one? Are they better than blankets and if so one with or without arms? tia

I agree baby sleeping bags are great. but i bought ones at half the price of grobags from supermarkets - tescos, asda & sainsburys all sold them in with their baby clothes & different togs depending on season

DS is still in one at nearly 2. Soon to graduate to bed with duvet though. They are pricy but - apart from one that was a baby gift (suggested by me, as PassMeTheKleenex says) - I've got them used at NCT sales etc - I just got a Grobag brand one for £2 for new baby. I think they're a lot easier and harder to kick off than sheets, blankets etc. We co-sleep and I feel it's safer for him to be in his own bedding rather than under my duvet.

Don't buy loads to start with. I loved the idea of them, but DD hated them and would scream and wriggle whenever I tried her in one. In the end we gave up and put her in a cot with sheets and blankets (although she preferred to be in our bed!)

my DS was in one from day 2. They were wonderful. Stopped me worrying about too many layers etc etc. And by a few months, he always ended up with his head at the other end of the cot (and still does sometimes, aged 5!!), so the blankets would a) never have stayed on, and/or b) he'd have been under them every night. 2.5 tog is the way to go!
