Anyone sat an exam whilst heavily pregnant?

I have my final exam on the 20th of October and my baby is due on the 28th.
Just wondered if anyone has ever sat an exam this late into pregnancy, and if there is anything I need to know or do before I go.

Thank you in advance x

Going to the loo is allowed, the way I understand it is you can go as often as you like, for a maximum of 30 mins at a time. This time will be lost in your exam.

I may well be wrong, but have checked in their examination booklet and it does state that "normal" pregnancy will not give way to any special arrangements. Maybe if I discuss it with them tomorrow I will get more information.

Thank you

Only allowed exam questions and answer booklet, and desks are pretty big, so should be fine.

Not sure can't remember off the top of my head what chairs were like though.

Hi, I sat my final exam last year at 39 weeks pregnant. It was 2 hours long and I managed with 1 loo break. I passed too Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine

Thank you mamasunshine, mine is three hours so hopefully going by your luck, 2 loo breaks might be enough. Thank you.

Fingers crossed that I make it to the exam and baby doesn't come early, would be lovely to get it finished before baby comes.

Ask to sit near door so near toilet. I hope its not too time pressured as you will no doubt loose a little time. I know that even at 39 weeks I was using the tube to come home from work and the hour without toilet wasn't a problem. You might manage with one loo break.

All my previus exams I have had 10 minutes to breath at the end. I suppose I don't really need to breath I could get away with doing that once the clocks stopped.

One loo break would be great, don't even think two would be an issue. Every exam I have sat there has been a loo user in there (mostly men), and it hasn't overly disturbed me, so I don't suppose it will be an issue, but a back seat would be good, as it is also near the bag locker in case I need to get my mobile out for any reason.

Thank you everyone, I think I will definatly sit it if I make it, really want to avoid deferral if possible.
