Anyone got a BT 150 Baby monitor?

Hi, I hadn't decided whether or not to get a monitor (as we've only got a 1 bedroom flat) but I was having a look at these and they seem to incorporate a thermometer and a nightlight (which I was going to buy anyway) so if these are good it might be worth just getting the monitor esp as they're on ebay for £45!

Any feedback greatly appreciated thanks, Clare x

Yes, we have one and it's been great. I find the thermometer really good - the night light not so much.

The range is FAB and it's really, really handy (for us anyway) that you can put batteries in both bits of the monitor so you can use it out and about (we have used it camping for example).

Mmmm, so yes - I would recommend it in short

It's brilliant - ours has been going strong for 2.5 years. We had a crappy analogue one to start with but could never hear anything, but this one is crystal clear.

Night light isn't particularly bright, and it's orange which I don't find particularly restful

I have the BT Digital Baby Monitor plus, which I think was the model before the 100, which was the model before the 150. And I would recommend it, so I am sure the 150 will be fine.

We've got one and love it. Like the others have said the nightlight is a bit pants but the fact you can turn the music on remotely if your baby wakes to send them back to sleep with the parent unit (and not having to move off the sofa unless it's just out of reach) is worth it's weight in gold.

However we've been using ours for 18 months and the rechargable batteries in the parent unit are starting to not hold as much charge so only lasting 3/4 hours fully charged instead of most of the night. So if you are getting it off ebay it may be worth enquiring how long it's been used for. But to be fair I don't think a new set of rechargeables is that expensive.

But apart from that one minor issue it's great!!

We have had this one for DD ( whos now 21mths) and will be using it again for DC whos due in a couple of weeks.

Found it fab. Agree with others that the night light isnt that bright, but the torch bit on the parent unit is good.
Agree that being able to play the music is very handy so you dont need to go in and risk further disturbing baby. Also being able to record you own tune is a fab idea too and came in useful.

Only really use it now if shes poorly or if I go out in the garden whilst shes napping so i know when she wakes, and agree that its crystal clear even outside.

Temp faciliity is handy and can set an alarm beep if it gets too hot in babies room.

No complaints here

It?s definitely the best thing we have bought Baby wise. Remote Lullaby is a godsend, temp v useful & talk function is handy too.
