I've changed my name because I feel a bit embarassed that I don't really know this!

I have a strange feling that I might be pregnant. See what you think.

I have been feeling sick in the mornings for about 2 weeks now and not both but one of my boobs had started to hurt (quite strange) but but but my AF arrived.
Last month my AF came a bit earlier than normal which I though was a bit strange but forgot about it until I had the sicky feelings.

I really thought I might have been pg up until AF came but you hear stories of women who've had af's right throughout their pregnancy.

What do you think?

I've just been to the toilet and since then I've been getting a really sharp pain low down in my abdomen. Like a UTI.... it's getting sorer by the miunte!!!! OUCH!

Oh no poor you. UTI's are very painful especially if you've just been to the loo

MBMBN - And guess what.... both pregnancies I got a terrible UTI at 4/5 wks.

Yes. I'm just about to start a new job which is freelance so I would lose my job and get no mat pay. We need this job as my income is the only income that can be taken into account when looking for another mortgage (DH has bad credit). This job is our ticket our of debt and into a 3 bedroomed house with a bit of savings behind us. We are still clearing 4k put on credit card when I was on my Mat leave with dd.

Toothy - won't you get SMP?

Lunavix - No I'll be self employed. Also to be entitled to SMP you have to have worked there from at week 1 of your pregnancy!

You can get SMP if you are self employed, as long as you still pay NI.

Just not maternity pay from anyone else.

Lunavix - I can't get anything anyway coz if I am I would be starting the job at least a month pg. I know I'm not entitled to anything. Besides, as I'm the main earner we couldn't live on my SMP last year so hammered the credit card and took a payment break on the mortgage. Oh god what a mess!

Can anyone help my out with my query on the Mirena thread??? These pains are really freaking me out.

Toothache - If you're self employed you are entitled to maternity allowance (not SMP) of £106 per week for 26 weeks, as long as you've worked for at least 26 of the 66 weeks before the EDD, and have gross earning of at least £30 per week in any 13 week period during this time.

The work you've done in the 66 week test period can be a mixture of employed work and self-employed work.

Posted on the other thread.... but 2 tests say BFN! Thanks goodness for that... thats one less thing to worry about for now.

I am sure I've been getting fluttery feelings in my stomach too. I feel a bit sick agin this morning. I was ok when I got up but when I came downstairs I picked LO up really quickly and it's seemed to have set it off. Very weird.

I don't know if I want to test now tbh. I can't be pg and if I am it'll be a bloody miracle!
I think I'll see how I go over the next few days and if nothing changes I'll go and see the Dr and he can do a test.

It looks almost certain that I've miscarried.

I'm waiting for my Dr's appt, can you believe I have to wait a week!
