Arrrrghhhhhhhh.

Am really broody. Friend announced she was pg yesterday and I went all . Then thought of the horrors of the early days and went .

Can't really afford another. But can't imagine not being pregnant again.

Did anyone else get like this when their second was nearly 1?

Sigh.

Yes,I felt this way too. That is why I have 2 under 2!Am now feeling as 3 of my friends are pregnant & I keep wishing I was again too.
[although after dd2 spent most of the day screaming, perhaps not)

Was never broody with a little baby - only after baby passed 2 ("women! know your limits!") - but defo broody then.

Stopped after 4th though (something to look forward to, OO!)

After I posted on this thread the other day I've been really struggling with the broodiness.

Dh always says he would love another but it's just the money thing. He has so enjoyed Ds3 and his babyhood (he's only 22 months, he is still a baby) so it makes me feel sooooo broody.

I've lost count of the number of times I've had to bite my lip before I start begging him to change his mind about trying for No4.

I starting to feel that all consuming desparate feeling for another baby and it's really horrid.

emmatmg, what ages are your 3 and how old are you? Does your dh know you feel so strongly?
Questions questions...xxxx

We had a family type do yesterday and dh's relatives were asking if we were having anymore and dh said, no that's it now, and I just smirked in the doorway and said mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Yes I did feel like this when dd was nearly 1.
She is now 15 months and I'm almost 3 months pregnant!!

Mad I tell you...... MAAAAAAD!

...and a big chunk of

oliveoil · 02/08/2005 11:15

I know I am mad. But I was reading something aloha put on another thread (Gina I think) and she mentionned a baby nuzzling at your boob like a little mouse and I got all nostalgic. Which is even more MAD as I hated the early days and really didn't cope well at all. Mother nature is very clever at making you forget the horrors.

Olive, I'm 32 and the boys are 6, 4 and 22months. I know I've got plenty of time for more, so maybe I should just bide my time and hope he changes his mind again.

Dh does know how I feel, but I have promised him (and myself really) that I wouldn't hound, nag, badger, harrass, beg, plead etc etc for another baby. I never thought he'd change his mind for no3, it took 15 months of me virtually begging him until he agreed so I couldn't and wouldn't do it again for both our sakes.
I leave the contraceptives to DH so any mistakes would be purely his.

oliveoil · 02/08/2005 11:28

Yes, you have time on your side I agree. But that is not everything I find, I am 35 but I want a similar age gap between them all.

I know, I'm just trying being sensible and trying to make myslef feel better.

In reality and when I'm not trying to trick myself with "I'm only 32" comments I want to shout and scream from the roof tops "I want a baby NOW!!!!!!!"

No-one in my RL knows how I strongly I feel about this, Dh knows but not to the true level.

oliveoil · 09/08/2005 13:16

Have changed my mind. Bad weekend with ill baby and dd1 has dropped her nap so is an unbelievable pain in the arse late in the day.

Both of them were screeching on Sunday afternoon and me and dh just looked at each other over the noise and said "oooooh go on, let's have twins".
