just went to the loo and had (sorry if TMI) discharge with trace of blood through it! Is that it?

No pains or anything just goo.

Hi Preggarschick. Am getting very excited for you!! How you feeling today? There can be quite a bit of mucus discharged and it doesn't always come out in one go, so keep monitoring it. Any other feelings yet?

Tummy has been getting tight alot more, more period pains. quite alot actually todaythinking bout it!
was starting to think that piglet has just decided that there too comfy and doesn't want to come out!

sounds like you're warming up nicely. These are all good symptoms. If you start to feel a bit sick or get diarrhea (never know how to spell that!), then you're definitely on your way! Try and get as much rest as possible as you never know when it's going to start in earnest. Keep us updated... whilst you can!

took me 10 days of endless pink gloop and massive stop-everything-breathe-through bh's until my waters went with ds1.

and i didn't get a show at all until my waters broke with dd2...

there's just no way of telling lol.

Same here with first...loads of it..sorry ! Then with next 2 children, not a sausage, didn't even notice a show with either of them.

Had to phone hospital this morning!Told to stay at home for now. Got the tens machine on! its like having 10 really bad periods all at once.

Preggerschick hope it all goes/ has gone well! I was right about me - had pains getting more intense from Monday night onwards - went in to hospital at 9.30 on Tuesday morning, was 5cm dialated, and had baby girl at 12.30! She is fast asleep in her moses basket next to me as I type!

Got to the hospital 4.30pm having been in labour from 5am , was assesed and told that i was 4cm dilated! was moved upto birthing suite, by 8.30pm was in birthing pool!
Home now, she's beautiful, but Greedy!

Congrats Preggerschick!! Sounds like we had really similar labours as well - I used birthing pool too! Was a really positive experience (gas and air helped loads!). Did need quite a few stitches though!

I loved the gas and air!! Hahaha. water took some more of pain away! plus i find my skin is super smooth now apart from tram track belly!

As did i need quite a few stitches!(3rd degree tear) had to have a general anaesthetic for it!

I loved readng this thread. Many many congratulations Passionberry and Preggarschick. I am 40weeks +1 and the midwife came to do a sweep yesterday, but she couldn't because my cervix wasn't in the right place. Anyway, she must have knocked something cos i've now had my plug knocked (i had some dark blood in goo) so i'm really hoping.
I'll be off for another lokng walk this afternoon.

Nothing going on with me today i'm afraid. I've still been losing the plug in dribs and drabs, but i have no pain at the moment. I'm just waiting! I'll try a walk again this afternoon.

Make sure you don't use all your energy. You might need it sooner than you think!!
