I seem to crave fresh stuff at the moment like fruit salads, cucumber, lettuce etc ... which I suppose isnt too bad (better than choc, which I have actually gone right off!)
But the other day I ate nearly a whole cucumber!!

Anyone had any funny / strange cravings?

sushi. especially salmon. can't stop thinking about it. but sooo expensive. and probably not a good idea more than twice a week anyway cos heavy metal build up in fatty fish.

(i know raw fish sounds like a dodgy thing to eat in pg, but i'm going with the swedish advice that properly prepared sushi is fine, not a listeria risk.)

Pineapple.
Quavers.
Pork pie (actually this is not just a pregnancy specific one but feel more entitled to give in now I can officially label it as a pregnancy craving!).

ds - greens, especially broccoli, spinach, brussels sprouts (of which I ate about a dozen for lunch nearly every day!) still love 'em.

dd - coca-cola. I drank more coke during 2nd trimester than in probably the previous 5 years. am now back to hating the stuff...

(that chewing sponges one has got me though! - not "confused", just that's what it'd do to my mouth )
