Any midwives around to help me judge the urgency of this?

I am 36+5 with DC3.

I have swollen ankles, feet, and hands.

I was up in the night being sick, and have had a vague headache for a couple of days. (Kind of like the onset of a migraine, but it hasn't built into anything. I used to suffer migraines with my periods but have only had them very rarely since I had DC, and never when PG.)

I also have extremely itchy feet.I was getting an itchy rash for months before I became pregnant. I was tested for evrything...thyroid, early menopause, allergies....nothing came back. Through my own observations I decided it was worse when I was tired or rundown, and possibly when my period was due. It disappeared almost completely when I fell pregnant, but now it's back with a vengeance.

I have gestational diabetes, so have had blood pressure/urine etc checked more often than most, and all has been fine. But googling these symptoms has given some pretty worrying results.

So, I know I need to see someone, but my issue is when? Do I call out of hours now/in the morning? Do I wait until Monday morning and call my community midwife? Or shall I just wait until Tuesday, when I have an appointment with my community midwife anyway?

Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks if you've read all that!

Phone labour ward - they will triage & decide who if anyone needs to see you.

If you are worried about anything, call unit and ask to come in and be checked.

Call the out of hours now, you should get your BP checked ASAP.

not a mw but can you telephone triage at hospital you are booked in? They will be able to advise you. You should have a no on front of yr green notes

Thanks for the advice. My MIL is a nurse, and is coming over to take my blood pressure. At least that'll give us an idea of how much we need to worry.

With all due respect your mil is not a mw, ok she can take your bp but as you are pg it changes and she is not trained to spot pregnancy issues.

You were obviously worried enough to ask for advice. I have to say i think you should seek advice from a mw.

Yes, I think getting your BP checked is v important, hopefully it will be fine and it will put your mind at rest, but I wouldnt leave it over the weekend.

Are you still getting lots of kicks and movements?
