Successful Preg straight after MC (i.e. no cycle in between)

Hi Ladies,

I had a MC in February. I'm pregnant again which we are just over the moon about but naturally extremely nervous.

Just wondering if anyone had any good news stories about anyone who had a successful pregnancy to term following directly from a straightforward (if there is such a thing.. but no D&C.. was natural)?

Hi mumsie was it last week as well? How are you feeling now? I am just waiting for a call from my GP as I was unsure whether to go and see them or not.

I think that the hospital will write to him and tell him what's happened.

I am hoping that the bleeding has nearly finished now, I dont know whether I should be expecting it to be over so quickly - 5 days?

I am going skiing next week and am worried that it will come back with a vengeance

Hope everyone's ok

Hello walkonby mine was 4 week's ago, i feeling fine everything body wise i think is back to normal, my bleeding was a tad lighter than my period but lasted roughly same time as a period about a week.

I dont think it will come back with vengance at all really i dont think you should worry, if you just take another test to be sure and make sure its negative then your body should be back to normal once bleeding has stopped.

How are you feeling?

I'm ok I think, I am feeling a bit better now my hormones seem to have settled down a bit. I just spoke to my GP who said I should really give myself a break and wait before trying again, but I am not so sure.

I think its really helped me listening to other people's stories and its really kind of everyone to share them as its not an easy thing to talk about is it?

You'll have to let me know how you get on - and everyone else as well

mumsie123 · 13/04/2010 18:08

oh i will do, im due on my first period tommorow, so want it to hurry up.

I think maybe emotional they want you to wait, i mean i should wait cause i dont think another let down will go well, but when you want something so much its hard.

Like my dad used to say what we will be will be even though its hard i try and tell myself there must of been something wrong with the baby and im glad i didnt have to make a descion further along.

I hope this is a extra lucky thread i feel really positive i think it has good vibes :-)

good luck to everyone

Oh I do too - really hope it's a lucky thread

I've got my GP appt tomorrow. I'm so confused, I'd love an early reassurance scan that everything is okay but yet if she doesn't give me one then I know that's because she thinks everything is okay which is what I want. So so so hard to know.

So nervous but fingers crossed.

Congratulations on your pregnancy Happygirl. I was in the same situation last year. Got Married in June and had 2MC right off the back of the other. I ignored my GPs advice and didnt take a break, and conceived straight away. Im now 30 weeks pregnant and due on my wedding anniversary this june x

one of my best friends went for a check after her miscarriage (at 12 weeks) and they scanned her,the nurse pointed out that she was about to ovulate and suggested she try that day,the result is now 11,and fab.

HappyGirl1 · 15/04/2010 12:25
