I am a Mum of two, a girl of 3 years and a boy of 11 months. A friend of mine is just about to give birth and has been asking what she should be using on her body after the baby has arrived.

I have told her pretty much everything I used/am still using from when I was pregnant but I would like a broader idea of products form yourselves.

I informed her of things such as the 'Mum to be' range for a bit of pampering, any Dove body cream and Bio Oil for those possible strech marks. Anything and everything would be welcome with a quick explanation of what the product is and where abouts to use it.

I look forward to the replies.

Thankyou ladies.

Charlie.

When my son was born a friend gave me a gift of L'occitane Almond oil/cream etc. They are fabulous. I felt so gorgeous and they smell great.

Palmer's cocoa butter is fantastic. Also cheap so can slather on all over without guilt.

I'm sure there'll be tons more suggestions

Bio Oil is brilliant! I think it is far better than all the other designer stuff out there.

Having said that, I do like the MamaMio range - they do some lovely stuff.

Also Weleda is all natural and doesn't contain any nasties.

My fave is 'Derma Mum Superior Stretch Mark Cream' its in a supersize tube from Boots and costs about £11.00. Lasts for ages, I slather this on all over twice a day and not a sign of a stetchnark yet at 28weeks, I have my fingers & toes crossed it will stay that way! This can be used after pregnancy too as its just a great rich moisturiser. Also all of the body-butters from the BodyShop are fab & smell georgous too!
