Only got my bfp last week so it is early days yet
Don't know how much of this is psycosommattic (sp?) but I am KNACKERED.
Haven't had any sickness yet but last time I was really sick and needed a lot of sleep.
Dp has already suggested a 10pm bedtime to try and make up for being so tired.
Any top tips on coping?

Erm, 9pm bedtime

Lots of TV

Easy meals/pasta sauces in the freezer

A very supportive partner

nursery!

I remember being knackered with no. 1 in the first few weeks but it did get better. I am now 5+5 (approx) and completely exhausted. Fell asleep on the floor playing with DS the other day!!

I have been going to bed at 9pm since before my BFP to be honest with you. Sky+ is my friend.

Hope things get better (for us both) soon x

going to bed whe the kids go to bed when its really bad ( sometimes take laptop and watch movie ) but definitley in bed before 10 at the latest

also you laying on sofa 1 eye open child watching movie

and have loads of really easy meals in I get horroble nausea that starts at 3 ( just as I leave for the school pick up) and ends when I go to sleep the absolute last thing I had energy to do was cook and eat. family ended up eating pasta a lot and i would eat toast later on in the vening as my sickness was wearing off

cbeebies
nursery
ready meals
early nights
partner who helps
friends/family who can give you a break from time to time
don't start anything stressful/time consuming such as getting in builders
spend lots of time with other people who have toddlers
go to soft play areas where toddlers can run while you sit and do nothing for a couple of hours.
drink plenty of water
eat regularly, small and often to keep your energy up

Nettiespagetti · 14/03/2010 15:56

Everything Pavlov said and also do not let toddler drag you through tunnels at soft play! Nap if toddler naps!! Wish you best of luck most importantly rest whenever you can even just little tiny sit down!!

Thanks for these
9pm bedtime is very tempting but not when One Born Every Minutes on!
Any others?

I was having a 7-8pm bedtime from weeks 5-15. Now at week 17 and can make it to 9. Whoo hoo! I just record stuff I want to watch and the house looks like a bombsite. I work 3 1/2 days a week where I slump at my desk looking green and arrange to meet other toddlers on my days off.

Definite fan of soft play with a cafe in view of the mayhem. We've got annual membership to our local aquarium with a soft play area where I drink hot choc and eat flapjacks while dd runs off some energy.

Oh, and way too much Cbeebies.
