I am on my 3rd size increase and am only 7 weeks, I don't remember having this problem before but I can't keep buying bras this often.

Any suggestions? Have now gone to a dd cup which seems to be outside the cheap bras too

We have a v nice shop locally with measuring and everything but I can't afford £30+ bras for a couple of weeks!

GG cup here, getting bigger by the day but trying to avoid buying an H for final weeks of pg -- SO annoying. Am sitting here with tits round my ankles because I couldn't bear having the too-tight bra on one minute longer!

I know it's a bad idea not to keep myself in properly fitted ones, but the expense is just nuts -- and God knows what size I'll be once the baby's here and milk comes in etc...

Feliena · 05/03/2010 19:54

the bigger joke is im only 10 weeks!!

Bravado

they do for pregnancy and breastfeeding, come in flexible sizing so they expand with you and they are soooo comfy.. brought two from one of the online preggy bra shops.

I've just gone yesterday and bought an Asda "total support" bra because my boobs are such agony and I'm finding that even at only 6 weeks pg, I can't fit into my bras. Asda seem to have a good range of non underwired ones (of which this is one) up to enormous cup sizes, big enough even for my emerging bowling balls!

Best of all it was only £6 so if I have to buy again a few weeks down the line, I won't feel I wasted a fortune.

I spent the money and went to Rigby and Peller; the fitter gave me a stretchy sports-type bra without underwire, fastened on the highest fastening rather than the lowest, and one cup size larger than my already large E cup with room to grow. It is the most comfortable bra I have ever owned, and despite the fact that my breasts have kept growing, it still fits. I then went elsewhere and also bought a couple of cheap bras in a similar size.

The fitter did say I should come in a few weeks before my due date to be remeasured for a maternity bra, and I definitely will; R&P was totally brilliant and lived up to the hype.

musicposy thats what I'm after. Loks like another trip to asda!

Go get yourself fitted properly at Bravissimo if possible. Or Debenhams at a push, but Bravissimo do the best fitting IMHO.
Currently in a 38GG here, but Debenhams do a really good black and white twin maternity bra pack for about £20. £10 each, bargain. When pregnant, aim to do the bra up on it's tightest hooks so there is room for your ribcage to expand and have some growing room in the cup. Easier if you go for a soft cup (no wires) style.
