What do you do?
My (big chunky) just turned 3yr old jumped directly onto my 8month pregnant bump this morning.
Of course I gasped and told him off, and explained 'be careful of baby belly' for the millionth time.
But it's worrying!
I worry he could disrupt the placenta which is at the front.
He's so bloody clumsy.
I'm supposed to get anti D everytime I get a blow to the tummy, but I can't have anti D several times a week.
Grr, be suprised if my baby gets out of this in one peice.
I also have little amniotic fluid too! So baby isn't that protected..

I'm not really sure, but I know that we're going to face this sort of thing a little while down the road. We're trying to get DD out of the habit of sitting on my tummy even at this early stage (5 + 4) to try and head that off at the pass. Don't know how successful we'll be though, because she's fairly lively and only just 2.

Equally we're going to let her see scan pictures and feel movements where possible, but I presume you've done that anyhow.

Does he know that you have to get an injection everytime you get knocked like that? If he doesn't like needles himself that might help, perhaps.

Ah good luck.
I don't think my son's comprehension skills are developed enough yet to tell him about the injections.
His speech has been estimated to be same as aged 1.5-2.5 yrs
He's only just starting to understand things like 'brush teeth get sticker' as that's a very instant thing..
sigh

I am having same problem (front placenta) 8 months pregnant, and Rh- and enthusiastic 3 year old (who does understand but forgets) but I spoke to GP and she said obviously best not to get bumped but only need Rh D injection if accompanied vaginal bleeding. Also would never need more than one anti d every week as i think you can have one up to 10 days after a bump, so you could save up and have one each weeek! Best to discuss with GP?

Also have an 8 month bump (front placenta)and an over enthusiastic 14 month old DS. Luckily I don't ned antiDs and I take some relief in the fact that at least she gives him a good kicking when he tries to climb/lie on her (bump)!
