How often should I be seeing the midwife in the third trimester?

Saw the midwife today. I'm 28 weeks pregnant and it's my second pregnancy. She said as I was leaving to make an apt for 6 weeks time, I will be 34 weeks then. I'm sure last time my appointments had gotten closer together by now? Briefly my history is I'm down as high risk, BMI of 36. My blood pressure is at the high end of normal usually 140/80 but rose during the last 8 weeks of my last pregnancy. I'm rhesus negative and have a low lying placenta. I also had protein and sugar in my water in the last 10 weeks of last pregnancy. I'm not good at being pregnant but don't intend to do it again lol. I've also been suffering with SPD- however this hasn't been bothering me too much the last few weeks. Last time I went was three weeks ago and a different midwife saw me and said I needed to be seen in three weeks so I thought the appointments were going to be getting closer together. Am I worrying about this for no reason or should I be being monitored more often right now? Tia.

I am due to go 2-3 times, but have no complications other than PGP which the physio helps me with.
In your case, I'd have thought you should be ssen more often given the BP issue, etc. But I am no expert - just guessing!

Hope it goes okay for you.

Thanks nicky. I thought that last time by now I was seen every 4 weeks and I wasn't really high risk then. I was thinking it could be because it's a second pregnancy or that because I'm seen by the midwives in a different area now (I'm delivering in a different area to where I live but have to be seen my the midwives in my area- unlike last time)

I have had far fewer appointment this second time too.
Feel a bit neglected.

Afaik, mw care varies from surgery to surgery here anyway, so probably differetn set up?

The policy now for subsequent low risk pregnancies in my area is a gap between 28 and 34 weeks then 36, 38 and 41.

In my last pregnancy it was every 2 weeks from 28 weeks and ever week from 34 but they NHS recommendations have changed.

If you are concerned about anything make GP appointment for halfway inbetween.
