Any recommendations? I've spotted a fab Cath Kidston one, just trying to persuade DH. Any brands better than others? All advice gratefully received

A friend recommended that we get a HopPop one that is also a booster seat. She said they used it loads and have already bought another one as Argos had them on clearance for £20 (I got mine for £23 on ebay) in anticipation of the next (as yet not conceived) baby, so I got one. I think the Cath Kidston ones are lovely though, I had my eye on those. Also the Pink Lining ones look gorgeous, similar price to CK.

The cath kidston bags are lovely, but I don't find them big enough for everything I need. I had a skip hop duo for quite a while which was great, but again I found it just wasn't big enough(but I have 2 dc's and use cloth nappies so require more space than disposibles).

I currently have a Oilily bag which is prefect for the moment, however I can see me going back to the skip hop when we don't need to cart so much round.

Cath Kidston seem to hold their value well though so you could always sell it on if you changed your mind. I love the cowboys one, but I know that is the most commmon one.

I'm afraid it's got to be The Lin and Leo
Pricey but so worth it. I'm a mother of two and have been a nanny/childminder for years and it is, by far, the best. I have the red one with cherry lining. My friend has the chocolate with the green polka dot lining (which I prefer)
The best thing is it doesn't look like a changing bag so you will get lots of use out of it (cost per useage and all that) it's leather and absolutely huge inside with lots of pockets and a changing mat.
Everyone I know who has one has not looked back.
Go for it!

I've just bought a storksak

Nice and roomy with lots of pockets inside, wipe clean and comes with a changing mat and bottle thingie. It also looks like a nice handbag rather than a changing bag !

Never bothered this time round, just got myself a lovely big handbag. Saves carting 2 bags around

The Cath Kidston changer bags are gorgeous but I have to say, they're not very roomy and also my strap broke after less than a year. Their Customer Services dept were only prepared to offer a really meagre discount on what is quite a pricey bag.

agree with kp. just got a new slouch bag, much more stylish and versatile not to mention cheaper.

Have to agree with ruitbatlings Lin & Leo, I have the chocolate brown one with pink stitching ans gree lining. It's lovely and fits loads in, people always comment on it.

I had a proper £50 change bag with 1st child and zip broke. second time round I just stuck a nappy, wipes and spair pair of trousers in whatever one of my bags I fancied using. I am pretty lax and hardly ever change nappies when out unless there is a pooh which with both dc was surprisingly infrequent (public change stations give me heebie gebbies). I have a lovely leather bag from DP my sister gave me for chrimbo which I will probably use this time. Have to say am beginning to think oooh why is that Lin & leo so special, I must need one
