Is charity box cheeky?

Hi There,

I'm 21 weeks now and my hormones are making me want to bake at all times of the day and night! I made cookies and toffee last night just so I could get to sleep!

Thing is, my hubby is on a diet and my toddler is being tested for diabeties so i am taking all my baking into work.

Would it be cheeky to put a charity box next to the baking for people to put a donation in.

I was thinking Tommy's but if anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.

Of course not! I think its a lovely idea - not like you are asking them to pay you. No difference to a cake stall for charity?

Can you come and work at my office please?

Great idea. How well behaved you are not just guzzling it all yourself (I would!!)

I think it's a lovely idea. Would it be best to ok it with your boss first? I'm sure people wouldn't mind. (well done for not scoffing the lot - when pg with DS2 I couldn't stop eating!)

Nice idea, you should probably get permission first, of course. Oh, and don't go walking round with them jiggling the money box under people's noses as that would feel abit cheeky. But just leaving them out where everyone can see them with the box next to them is a nice thing to do.

not rude but get permission - if your work has a nominated charity then you might gave to do that.. they'll proabably be really pleased with your efforts!

What a lovely idea! Would also advise you seek permission first though.

Thankyou.

I will check it out.

I'm not being that good! I am eating plenty but 3 victoria sponges and 28 muffins a night would be a challenge for anyone!
