I am 28 wks and for the past few days i really feel like someone has kicked me in the vagina (lovely, i know).
Its feels like a bad bruise and is pretty tender to the touch. Sometimes its a bit stingy too. Its quite high up, kinda where the bottom of the pubic bone is (i think) and it feels like its on the surface mainly.
Its worse when i am walking, although it eases after a while, or lying down.
Has anyone else had anything like this? Its not like its an unbearable pain or anything, but it does seem to be getting gradually worse. Its just very annoying!
Thanks for any help!

Sounds exactly the same as I had. Spd I'm afraid.

I had this too it reminded of the pain you sometimes get on the first day of your period.
I had SPD and also varicose veins on my fanjo it was quite swollen and lumpy but fortunately vanished after I gave birth.

SPD.

Have it too.

Keep knees together when possible, moving in bed, getting out of bed etc.

Do not push shopping trolley - aggravates it.

Do pelvic floor exercises.

Go up stairs one at a time both feet to step etc.

Birthing ball helps.

Get ref to physio.

Mine is pretty mild as I googled as soon as I got it.

If left, can result in needing crutches, difficulty with birth, sometimes takes months after birth to recover, so ACT NOW!

Get diagnosis from GP too to be sure.

I think I may have it too!

I'm usually ok, but after walking for 10 mins or more or some other form of exercise, I'm in pain for 2 days. It then gets better with rest.

I'm 36+2 weeks though - is it worth going to the GP about it?

Thanks!

Same here - I'm 32+4 and desperate to stay low risk so I can give birth in my local MLU.

I take it flagging up that I have this (albeit very mild) will mean I am no longer low risk?

Aything I can do to stop it getting worse without telling the GP / MW, or am I being silly? I've heard seeing an osteopath can help?
