Sleep on your stomach?

I sleep on my stomach. It's truly the only way I can get comfy and fall asleep. Am now 20 weeks and have a small bump and I'm really concerned about:
A: squishing my baby now
B: how I'm going to sleep as I get bigger.
Anyone else out there had a similar problem and/or have any suggestions?!

A: you won't squish your baby.
B: you will find another position to sleep in

I sleep on my stomach and just ended up sleeping sort of on my side but a bit face down.

I'm 20 weeks too and am still sleeping on my stomach. I asked midwife about it at my last appointment and she just said I will get too uncomfortable to carry on sleeping like that before any chance of making the baby uncomfortable or squashing it! HTH

i would love to know the answer to this as i am exactly the same, i just can't seem to get comfy and other way.

I was worried about this, but figured that worry and consequent not sleeping was worse for the baby than the actual sleeping position. I have found however that I now tend to bend one knee up and out to the side thus relieving some pressure form my belly. I would strongly recommend a V shaped pillow - they're the best invention on earth and make sleeping with a slightly bigger bump (I'm 27 weeks) really comfy - as you just hug the pillow. Friends with babies have also said they're really useful for feeding.

I'm 17 weeks and making the most of being able to sleep on my stomach while I can as I remember hating not being able to last time.

I read somewhere that sleeping on your stomach in the last trimester (propped up on pillows!!) can help to get the baby in a good position from birth. I didn[t have a good birth due to poor position last time so will be trying this if I can (I am lazy and it sounds a lot easier than bouncing around on a birthing ball!)

Thanks all! After I typed the post I realised it sounded a bit daft, but glad to hear others have had the same experience.
Will try the v shaped pillow. How do you use it? Under your chest/arm area to prop you up a bit? (sorry just trying to visualise!)

I ordered it from the white company and tend to sleep with tip of the V pointing away, just slightly lower than the level of my bump. My top arm and top leg then rest on it and I get a fab night's sleep! The lower 'tail' of the V will stick out from the back between your legs, which stops you from rolling.
