Good classical music cd for babies?

Hi - I'd really like to get some classical music cds for my baby but the muzak-style Baby Einstein ones that I've listened to on Amazon sound like they would do my nut after a few plays. Has anyone bought anything bearable? Ideally just normal orchestral cds but tunes that are particularly pleasing to babies?

Thanks

Goldberg Variations. Both mine fell asleep to this for years - ds is 8 and still asks for it sometimes if he's very tired or poorly or sad. And the solo piano is much less head destroying than orchestral stuff in my opinion.

I have this one. I'm pregnant with my first (who seems to prefer disco ) so I can't say if other babies would like it but my cat loves it!

The Baby Einstein ones are a bit tinkly, though I have to say my DDs like them (I don't have to listen though, as they get put on at night when they're in bed and I'm downstairs drinking wine doing the housework). My mum got this one for them, and it's pleasant.

Give them proper music - you don't need crap rearrangements specifically for children. It'll serve two functions then - it'll help them relax and ensure that "good" music becomes part of their unconcsious mental furniture.

Something like this?

My DC's have enjoyed those with titles such as "Bach at Bedtime" or "Beethoven at Bedtime" or "Mozart for Meditation." If you look these up on Amazon, you'll find a huge selection. I like them because it's real orchestral music, but the selections are more easy-listening, so perfect for little ones.
