Saw midwife today at 31+4. Im measuring 35 cm. At 28 weeks i was measuring 30cm.

Am really worried baby is going to be massive? She said at my next appointment if she was still measuring big i would have to go for growth scans.

Any advice for a worried mum to be?

Oh, please don't worry.
It's not an exact science. Maybe your baby is a bit bigger, but there is no reason to think it will be huge.
I seem to remember my DD measuring a bit more than expected and she was chunky at birth (9 1/2lbs),but still in a normal range and birth was quite fast (4 hours) and easy.
You could have growth scans if you're fretting, but, again, they can under- or overestimate by 1 to 2 pounds.

i'm sure you'll get plenty of responses like this, but please try not to worry - as Winnybella says, it's such an inexact science. For every story i've heard that someone was having a big baby that wasn't, i've heard a small baby that wasn't too!
I was induced at 39 wks because i was categorically told my baby was a ten pounder. she was 8 pounds 9!! and there was a LOT of fluid! (so perhaps why i was measuring so big)
Listen to the professionals, take the extra scans (it's nice to see the baby again!!) and then if and when you have to make a decision, try and do it in a calm rational way.
And even if it is a big baby, plenty of bigger babies are born with no notice at all - so it doesn't have to be a problem!!
good luck - enjoy the rest of your pg

there's time for it to slow down. At 28 weeks I was measuring 30 - by 35 I was measuring 33 and I'm now 35 at 36 + 3. Apparently they really pack on size in the late 20s and then it tails off.

Also remember that estimating baby weights is not an exact science - the midwife I saw for my booking in at the birth centre said it was a waste of time but they have to do it

Or you might have a 10lb whopper in there [
