I am 26 weeks pregnant with DS2. I know I will love him (I do already) but I just don't know how he will ever compare to DS1, 20 months, who we both adore. I just have such an amazing intense relationship with DS1 and feel almost resentful that another baby is coming along to threaten that. Alos feel horribly guilty that DS1 will suffer as he will only have 50% of our attention. Sure it will all work out in the end but can anyone reassure me?

Because they are different people i suppose....i worried about it too with DS after DD...and now have another on the way and can't wait.

at the lack of photos, and about 2 mins of video compared to the hours of DC1

I haven't read the replies but I had the exact same worries when I was pregnant with my ds2.
What I found, was my heart just got alot bigger iyswim.
I love both my boys more than life itself, but in different ways. When ds2 was born, I loved him because he was my baby and he needed me, ds1 had his own little personality and really makes me laugh. They are so different, and I love them differently, but equally

I had this worry when pregnant with DD - how could I love her like I loved DS - but when she was born I took her into my arms and woebetide anyone who wanted to take her back! She has been the absolute light of my life ever since (she's 8 now) and through her I love DS more because seeing them together (well some of the time) I am so proud of them both. Love isn't divided by more - it multiplies.
