For the past week or so i've been having some tummy pains.

First of all I noticed that when i'm out and about walking, if I walk slightly fast I get a pain like a stitch low down on one side of my uterus.

This has happened a few times and the last time it happened it was like a stich at the bottom on both sides. If I carry on walking really slowly it eventually goes but then comes back a few minutes later. Obviously if I stop walking all together and sit down it would probably go altogether but I can't do this when i'm walking from A to B.

The other pain I am getting is most noticable when I am just sat down relaxing. It feels like mild to moderate period cramps all over my uterus, sometimes I can feel it at the back also. I keep getting this on and off a lot of the time, especially today. I've got it now nad have had it most of the evening.

I have read a few threads on braxton hicks but they all say BH aren't painful and both these pains i'm getting are painful, not so much the crampy pain, thats quite mild but the stitch thing really hurts.

Advice appreciated, am a little worried.

Hi everyone, i'm ok.

The conclusion was that it's probably just 'muscular pain' related to activity ie, when I do stuff.

They monitored the babies heartbeat and checked for contractions. They checked my urine and blood pressure and did like a smear and took some swabs to check for possible infections.

They said that everything looked fine when they took the swabs and cervix is posterior and closed. Didn't see any signs of infections either but sent swabs off just to double check.

I wasn't there long but as it's an hour away didn't get to bed till 4am so tired today. Dh is looking after me and making sure I don't do too much

Thanks again everyone.
