Hi All,

Have got my routine 12 wk scan on Monday and cant help but feel ever so slightly worried that its going to show that everything isnt OK. Did anyone else feel like this or is it just me? My first pregnancy ended in m/c, but 2nd resulted in my now 22mth DD thinking the previous m/c is possibly adding to my anxiety.....

Thanks x

Think its perfectly normal to feel this way, especially in light of your previous mc.

You have a DD so you know what a healthy pregnancy can feel like.

Good luck for your scan.

Perfectly normal. I had my 12 week scan last Monday and felt really worried and anxious. This is my 3rd DC and I have been even more worried than the previous two times. I think it's because I know more this time. Anyway the scan went fine, and was such a relief to see a healthy heart beating away. I also had the NT scan so fingers crossed the results will be ok.

I was much more anxious second time round than first time for 12 week scan.

With dd, I'd felt so sick and tired that I felt pretty certain there was a viable pregnancy going on.

But with ds, I felt pretty symptomless, and had even had some spotting so I was convinced the scan was going to be bad news. He's nearly 2 now - so as you can gather everything was ok.

Best of luck with it - hope it goes well.
