play some loud music. My DD particularly liked Meatloaf!

Go get checked out.

The hospital used to give me 2 biscuits and some juice but you've tried something similar.

I'm sure all is fine but don't wait.

It is not so much the number of movements, more whether you feel they are less vigorous or numerous than normal. Babies sleeep for 20-40 minutes at a time and their wakefull periods are usually when you are trying to sleep (a vision for the future!)As babies get bigger their movements change as the space they have to move around in is limited. The fact that you are counting and noting the time of movements daily makes me wonder if you have had problems in the past? Anyway, if you genuinely feel uneasy about the pattern of movements today after trying chocolate/cold drinks/prodding bump, then please give your day care ward a ring and ask to go in to have someone listen in & put you on a monitor. Take your notes and if my unit is anything to go by, a good book as you will be there a while! I'm sure it is nothing to worry about but only you know if you want to go and get it checked out. Good luck

I have been in a couple of times to be monitored due to reduced movements but normally wakes up after a while on the monitor thats why i am trying everthing i can home first!

Yes, they have a habit of doing that don't they?! I hope that you will always go in though, whenever you feel concerned, and don't be put off thinking you are imagining things or being a nuisance. You know your body and your baby best.
