Things to do when overdue (not intended to 'hurry up' baby)

I am 40+4 on my first baby and am beginning to go stir-crazy wondering what I shall do to keep myself occupied/take my mind off impending labour until this baby decides to make an entrance.

In the last two weeks I have:

  • slept as much as my body will let me (sadly not a lot!)
  • been to the cinema 5 times
  • been out for dinner (yes, including the curryhouse) every other night
  • been for walks
  • been to the local baby cafe
  • been swimming (but too nervous for this now)
  • baked buns
  • baked pastries
  • iced buns and pastries
  • completed two 540 piece jigsaws
  • watched two box-sets
  • downloaded music to the Ipod
  • have emailed and/or spoken to just about every single person I've ever met in my life
  • spent copious amounts of time surfing fora such as this one, having silly arguments to pass the time
  • shopped for stupid things I don't want or need online
  • spent almost all of our money

I'm finding I can't really manage to read books as they require too much ongoing concentration. Anyone have any other suggestions as to what I can do to avoid sitting here thinking about giving birth all day long?

Make meals and freeze them. Rearrange your cupboards. Organise your photos. Have a manicure. Wait, mainly

Have friends round / socialise as much as possible

Have a massage / pedicure / manicure / hair cut.

Cook some meals and freeze them in preparation for the first few days after your baby arrives

Do some antenatal yoga

buy your Christmas cards, address them and stamp them and write the top bit but leave a space for the new babies name, buy some nice writing paper so you can slip in a quick thank you along with the card for the new baby gifts you are bound to receive.
Wrap up any Christmas gifts you have already purchased and post out any that need to go further afield.

I'm 40w tomorrow and your list looks a lot like mine! Will be watching this thread for more ideas...

DO NOT ATTEMPT A DIY VERSION OF A BRAZILIAN WHEN YOU CANNOT SEE YOUR FANNY.

Yes, I am shouting this as I have been humiliated on the arrival of all three of my children to find my attempts of shaving my pubes to resemble a dead baby bird.

I'm being induced on my due date, but my to-do list before then includes having a pedicure, already had my hair done, putting up some photos, getting the ground-in-raisins off the carpets, sorting through random clothes and books to send some of them to the charity shop, and just generally de-cluttering.

All my hard work will be undone if I give in and have a sneaky trip to ikea though!

Oh, I've also planned (with the aid of graph paper no less!) the layout of the flower beds for next summer, and which plants I need to buy! I have gone gardening mad this pregnancy though!

I watched a lot of star trek.

I understand that may not appeal though
