I'm due on 21st July, have a 19 month old little boy already. Sickness kicked in last week, now I am so tired, and living in India and can't stomach any more dahl and rice... I just need pasta and more pasta.

Hi all

I am very new to mumsnet, but please can I join you all. I have a little girl who is 27mth and I am pregnant with baby no 2, due 28th July. The nausea and extreme tiredness has kicked in already, as has the wonderful heartburn!

Limelight, I know you don't like infusions, but have you tried peppermint tea. I existed on that with DD, I had awful sickness and none of the ginger remedies worked, but peppermint tea was a life saver. I hated the stuff before pregnancy and straight after, but I strangely love it again now!

Eurgh, the nausea is doing me in. I actually want to be sick now and be done with it!
A whole weekend wasted because every time i moved out of bed i went dizzy and felt sick. Trying the ginger biscuits and ginger beer as of last night when DH looked on the internet for remedies and went off shopping, bless. Seems to be working a bit, but is it all mind over matter and we make ourselves worse by thinking about it all the time?!

Hello. I am due mid July, with dc3 (I have 2 dd's of 3.8 and 2.6). I have felt so much worse this time round, nauseous all day and exhausted, not helped by the fact that I have had 2 colds since getting a bfp (panicking each time that it is swine flu!) I've had one scan, that just showed a tiny heartbeat, but have to have another scan this Thurs (I have quite a complicated miscarriage previously).

Just thought I'd join in to say good luck to everyone, also to mention sea-bands (the ones you wear on your wrists), I found they worked in my previous pregnancies, so might be worth a try if you are very nauseous.

The only food i want to eat is junk food and satsumas

Hi all,

Sorry haven't been on MN lately, been a mad x-mas and then being snowed in with a 1 and half year old didn't leave much Mummy time!

Just wanted to give you all a little glimmer of hope that the sickness does end. Now 14 weeks and it's wearing off. Still get it if I'm really tired or hungery but the constant feeling is going. The shattering tiredness is still here though! Sorry! How's everyone doing?

I tried the sea bands, they worked for a few days but then seemed to wear off. A friend of mine swears by them though. Crisps seemed to be doing the trick but I'm finding it hard to kick the habit now I'm feeling a bit better, there's only so much expansion you can blame on the baby!!

Hello I am due 6th of July and have a (just turned) 5 year old daughter. First pregnancy was a nightmare as I was really tired and sick. This one is much better although some nausea and I did put on a lot of weight already from size 12 to 14/16... Is anyone in Norht London Crouch End and fancies a tea?
