At 31 wks, I can laugh off putting the kettle in the cupboard and the meat for DDs dinner in the drawer I keep the saucepans in.

But a few wks ago I went to get DD from school (out of the house for just over half an hour) and left the chicken I was doing for dinner in its saucepan, merrily burning away! The kitchen was thick with smoke and our poor dog getting a bit stressed with it all.

This morning I got up and found that my straighteners were on, they've either been on for 24 hours, or I plugged them in accidently last night and can't remember. Either way they'd been on all night I always pull the plug out, where's my head gone??

Please tell me I'm not alone in my quest to burn our house down!

I abandoned my handbag in an aisle at Tesco.

I heard an announcement over the PA system about a lost handbag, and thought poor idiot. Until I went to pay and realised that I was the idiot.

oh god too many to remember.
My dh says he knew I was pregnant with ds2 before i did, because I was getting all my words muddled, like I did with ds1.

I've tried opening the house door by
pressing the key fob for the car, it took three separate press's and trying of the handle, before i realised!

gone to do a sample for the mw, came out of the loo and went straight home, leaving mw in her room waiting for me !!

Im laughing this is totally funny!( thankfully no real dangerous moments or no one got hurt)
1.I forget why i go downstairs and stand there for ages trying to figure it out!
2.I thought i had turned the kettle on and have poured stone cold water in my cup and then started drinking it!
3.I have called someone and forgot who i was talking to!
4.went to the school and forgot my son who is now in reception class went to the nursery and got in a panic when i was told he wasnt there!

  1. I have woken up completely forgetting Im pregnant until i catch the side glimpse of me in the mirror!
  2. Walked out of the house with 2 completely different shoes on, attempting to open a car thats not mine

Hopefully this will only last for the next 13 weeks! i dont think i experienced this whilst pregnant with my last 2 DD, but maybe it was the "FoG" why i cant remember it!
Hopefully that will happen again whilst in Labour!and i will blissfully be unaware of the pain im in!

I was very smug yesterday to have managed to virtually escaped doing anything too stupid (am 37 weeks), and it came to bite me on the arse today
Went Christmas shopping and drove all the way there before I realised I didn't have my handbag with vital purse and phone in. Shops are half an hour drive So now I am incredibly tired with crazy backache, having driven 2 hours in total today instead of the planned hour .

I'm glad it's not just me! I'm actually in pain from laughing at your posts!

I sell jewellery at markets and a while ago I drove 40 mins, set up my table etc.. had no jewellery to display, it was still at home.

I'm 18wks now and my fella is getting used to me making coffee in the sugar bowl and pouring cheerios into coffee cups but my dad was a bit freaked out when I cracked a raw egg on his bacon buttie! Eurgh!
