Do you think it was because your DP/H got carried away and didnt withdraw in time...or did you get pregnant even though he did in plenty of time?

Not that this has any relevance to my life

Ahem.

No no I am ignoring it

Besides I am still breastfeeding, I cant be

And if I were...I'm never going to hear the end of it from DH about his 'supersperm'

La la la, I'm not listening

fourarms I am

  • keeping baby close (he practically lives in a sling on my hip)
  • breastfeeding on cue (day and night) - oh yes! he is so not interested in solids even at 7 months
  • using breastfeeding to comfort your baby
  • breastfeeding in a lying-down position for naps and at night - we co-sleep
  • using no bottles or pacifiers - nope!

and my periods returned full on at 4 months

I think I may be an exception to the rule!

to the OP - ds1 was conceived this way but we know that we were careless after boozing once and well, he's here to prove it!

As I said earlier Divvy la la la I can't hear you.

Just did another test which had very faint line straight away but it is very very faint. But, ahem, there. Those cheap things off ebaby are always wrong though right?

Wellies - not listening to you either lol. Oh and I was the same with DS - he fed every 2 hours if not every hour, no dummies, EBF etc and I got my periods back at 6 weeks!!! I never quite forgave him (as was obviously his fault )

bytheway, I find with internet cheapies they give a better line with 2nd and later wee of the day

Is it darker today

For some strange reason I put this on a this different thread!

Ha ha - thats somebody confused then!

It is darker today but undeniably really really faint.

Period not due til friday / saturday ish though (I think).

My boobs are the size of my head and soooo sensitive...feeding DD is not fun! I am not going to be impressed if this is now my version of pmt since having her - or is it a bit excessive to wish to be pregnant because of that?!?

Oh, you do know that falling while bf increases your chances of twins! ha ha ha

I myself am rocking slightly mad looking in the corner!

We have been doing it for a while..

I got pregnant twice easily, the second time was unplanned but happy..remember dh saying, I think I came inside you just a little but I 'm sure we'll be alright ! 9 months later we had dd2 !

Then on the time we actually decided to get serious about contraception, we used a condom, the condom splited and I took the map and I got pregnant !

Just come across this thread. Ds1 was concieved using withdrawal method and dh definately pulled out in time He was a happy surprise, we wouldn't have taken the risk if we were that bothered.

Anyway, a line is a line, you are pregnant! Congratulations

Hmmm. I dont know

Internet cheapies (50 for only £4 ?!) still have shadowy / faint lines on them.

I have had slight spotting this morning. So could be my period. Alternatively I never usually have spotting apart from the month I conceived DD and thought it was my period.

I have come to the conclusion the cheap tests are unreliable. We shall see. I'm not sure what I want the answer to be really...maybe I will just be happy with whatever happens

Saying that maybe with that risk of twins my period coming might be best

they dont show a true line until at least period due imo

Report
peppapighastakenovermylife · 08/10/2009 11:38

I think its a case of wait and see. With my DS I had faint lines from 8 dpo which got darker and darker.

With DD I had nothing until the day my period was due. The day before I got some bleeding which I thought was my period then the next day strong lines on everything.

We shall see what happens

How are you coping by the way being pregnant and still breastfeeding? How old is DC?

Yes, its funny how they think your boob will stretch further than it actually can!

Yes...DD seems to like to use the other one as some kind of stress ball

Report
peppapighastakenovermylife · 09/10/2009 10:57

they certainly think something will happen.

I am pretty definite period has turned up. Am thinking possible chemical pregnancy as something was up.

I have decided that this is a good thing (only just started new job last week!) and would like a bigger gap really (3.3 yr old and 13 month old) - cannot afford childcare for 3!.

Has made me more determined to badger DH for another though
