Spotting, pulling sensations, diminished tiredness at 7 weeks

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 26/09/2009 11:58

I'm around 6-7 weeks. The day before yesterday I had a small amount of light pink spotting, which later went light brown. Next day I had a very small amount of red blood streaked discharge, no clots. This later went brown too. I've had no more since, I've been resting.

I also had quite a few mild aches/pulling sensations down there yesterday BUT (sorry for tmi) I also had diarrhea so I think the pain was more down to that. Of course I could be wrong.

But I haven't been as tired the last week or so. I don't generally get morning sickness but for a while I couldn't decide what I wanted in the morning and now I'm managing to eat breakfast ok. My boobs aren't sore any more and I'm kindof expecting the worst now.

I've got a scan booked on monday, but I'm dreading it. In the rush of excitement (and because I had no problems with my last pregnancy) I told everyone. I mean everyone. Now I'm cringing wondering how I'm going to tell everyone I've lost it.

We will all be with you James tomorrow, mine is 9.30am on Tuesday

deepdarkwood · 27/09/2009 21:17

Good luck for tomorrow james, and hope you have good news too kisses

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 27/09/2009 22:00

Thank you both. I really feel like I have no pregnancy symptoms left, I'm not tired, I can eat anything I want, my boobs don't hurt, I have no sickness/nausea, no heartburn...

I am still having cravings (cheese mostly!) but you can have cravings normally can't you, well I do!

I guess there's no point in speculating til tomorrow but it's hard not to. I'm doing ok though.

Hope you're holding up well too, kisses! x

james how did it go today? have been thinking of you all day

kisses1973 · 28/09/2009 16:32

Hi James

How did you get on today, we are all worried about you? sending hugs xxxx

I've got my 3rd scan at 9.30am in the morning xxx

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 28/09/2009 16:43

Hi guys, thanks so much for your invaluable support, it really helped to know someone out there was thinking about me.

I have good news!

The scan went well, everything is present and correct, baby is about 6.5 weeks going by size (7mm) the yolk sac was there, there was no blood inside, she doesn't know why I was bleeding as there was no visible reason, so I suspect it was probably a cervical erosion.

Obviously we are so happy and relieved, just sitting and having a cuppa to calm the nerves, and thanking our lucky stars.

Thanks again, you ladies are wonderful. And kisses please let me know how you get on with your scan, fingers crossed all is fine. x

Excellent news for you James, i'm really pleased.

I hope i'm going to be as lucky but I really can't see it xx

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 28/09/2009 17:01

I was convinced it was all over though... I haven't been tired or sick, no fantastic sense of smell, no sore boobs, no palpable bump, christ if I'm honest the only vague pregnancy sign I've had is lots of wind!

Really hoping for the best for you, not long now til you know either way.

Everything will hopefully be fine

kisses1973 · 28/09/2009 17:37

Hi Hoops

So, so sorry to hear that kisses, and thoughts are with you.

And glad to hear that all is well james - I am queen of cervial erosion ... I would warn you that you may get more bleeding (from bitter experience...)

cathcat · 30/09/2009 00:16

So sorry Kisses. hope you get some rest tonight.

kisses1973 · 30/09/2009 19:03

Hi guys

shattered and still very emotional but trying to get things back to normal by way of having gone back to work. Everyone has been brilliant.

Am just trying to eat some sensible food rather than just chocolate which is what it has been for the last week or so.

I really appreciate all the support everyone has given me on here and hope very much that we will all stay in touch.

My email is [email protected] if anyone wants to stay in touch and fingers crossed sometime in the future I will be on here with some good news.

lots of love xxx

Hi after some reassurance please
I’m 9 weeks and 2 days pregnant and since Friday I passed a fingernail sized clot and been having brown blood when I wipe after using the toilet, yesaterday I started having small cramps but bearable ones that go on and off, I called the out of hours doctor who told me it was completely normal and just rest and it should be fine. It’s my 4th pregnancy and I’ve never had it before, I’ve had a pad on and I just pass a dark brown discharge no clot or nothing, I have a scan scheduled for weds but I’m so scared, has anyone else had exactly the same and was all ok??
