Her reaction can't be any worse than my 10 1/2 year old DD's when we told her - she is pleased at having a new baby but commented on how digusting it was that her Dad and I were doing 'that' at our age !!!!!

I wouldn't worry too much, my dd1 didn't show much interest and hated me holding other babies. However once dd2 came along dd1 has adored her.
I organised things so that dd1 'found' dd2 in her moses basket, that she showed her to gps and also someone on her suggested talking to dd2 about what dd1 was doing, how good she wa etc in earshot and that has worked a treat!
dd1 showed ZILCh interest in my pregnancy. Your dd is still very young and they really deal in the here and now at her age. Its a very very long time away that your baby will arrive in her world.
