I have a strong feeling this one if going to be a boy (had it last time too and he was)

Did you know what sex your baby was going to be right from the start? and were you right?

i posted on a similar thread a few days ago saying i was adamant i was having a boy just felt it! Had scan yesterday and sure as hes a boy! I never for a moment hesitated and it felt totally wrong to say she!

GreenMonkies · 10/09/2009 19:59

Yes with DD1, no idea why, but I always knew she was a girl and was not at all surprised when she was born.

DD2 had us convinced she was a boy, so we were gobsmacked when she didn't have a willy!!

Bleatblurt · 10/09/2009 20:01

Yes, all three times.

With DS3 I didn't know until birth and I remember coming round from the GA and DH saying, "It's a boy!" and wondering why he was saying it like it was a surprise because we already knew that. When I was more awake I realised we hadn't actually offically known, it was just that I was so sure it was a boy my entire pregnancy.

tostaky · 10/09/2009 20:10

no... i reakky thought id have a girl and it turned out a little boy!

bebejones · 10/09/2009 20:11

When pregnant with my DD I was so convinced, and from very early on, that I was having a girl. I just felt SO ill I knew that it had to be a girl causing so much trouble in there! If the sonographer had said it was a boy I would have fallen off the couch during my 20week scan!!

EccentricaGallumbits · 10/09/2009 20:12

I was totally convinced No1 was a boy. turned into DD1

second time around because it allfelt so different I was convinced No2 was a boy.
turned into DD2

PinkTulips · 10/09/2009 20:13

i was right with all three

dinkystinky · 10/09/2009 20:25

Convinced DS1 was a girl until the 20 week scan when I suddenly had a feeling that he ws a boy before the sonogram.

DS2 - knew early on that he was a boy as the pregnancy was the exact mirror of my pregnancy with his big brother (except at the end he was a couple of weeks early and his big brother was a couple of weeks late) and he's like a clone of his big brother still!

Hormonesnomore · 10/09/2009 21:34

I was wrong with all three of mine, pinktulips!

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 11/09/2009 21:48

NO

PrettyCandles · 11/09/2009 21:52

1st time, had no idea.
2nd time, got it wrong.
3rd time, got it right.

beaner07 · 11/09/2009 22:06

When pregnant with DS1 I was pretty certain he was a boy, and wasn't shocked when he was born.

With DS2 I changed my mind every week until about 3 weeks to go, I then thought it was another boy and out he came .

I am currently pregnant with DC3 and am convinced it is another boy, DH would like to know the sex at the 20 week scan but I am not so sure.

ADriedFrogForTheBursar · 11/09/2009 22:15

I was completely wrong, was sure my beautiful, fairy-loving, pink, fluffy dd was a boy. Didn't dare form an opinion the second time round

WorzselMummage · 11/09/2009 22:20

I've known with both of mine(g+b) and miscarried 2 boys and a girl. I just know.

memorylapse · 12/09/2009 10:44

Ive known everytime..based on the sickness..I get HG with the boys..but its marginally not as severe with the girls..this time I swear its a boy as im only six weeks and already really poorly

SecretSlattern · 12/09/2009 11:18

I knew I was pg with a girl first time even before I did the test. DD is now 5 .

Second pg, I was convinced I was having a boy, I don't know why but just convinced. I miscarried so never got to know but honestly believe it was a boy.

And with DS, I knew he was a boy. Again, not sure why. Just knew. I was miserable about it until it was confirmed at 20 week scan, didn't want boys, but when they told me, he was most definately a boy (I made them check twice , I cried and suddenly wanted a boy more than anything else.

itsalwaysthequietones · 12/09/2009 13:22

I absolutely 'knew' I was having a boy and so did everyone else (apart from one dissenting friend). When the anaethetist said "yes, she's absolutely fine" I was completely delighted but also had come to terms with the fact that I have absolutely no feminine intuition when it comes to these matters.

purepurple · 12/09/2009 13:25

I just knew DS was going to be a boy.
The same as I just knew DD was going to be a girl.

Crazycatlady · 12/09/2009 13:25

Yes I was certain I was incubating a girl, and when she arrived it was no surprise at all. Everyone I know thought it was a girl too. I know there is a 50 50 chance, but still...

Pingpong · 12/09/2009 13:37

I was absolutely convinced DD was a girl and was right.
I am pregnant again and feel very different so I'm thinking boy this time.

CPH · 12/09/2009 16:58

Don't know yet but I'm convinced it'll be a boy! As someone else mentioned, I had a dream about it and literally everything around me was blue but hey we'll just have to wait and see!!

I defnitely want to find out as soon as they can tell me though as I have the perfect girls name, that I've ALWAYS wanted, but we aren't sure on boys names! :S

Kaylo · 12/09/2009 23:29

Hi JATGB

yep, with DD I wasn't interested in 'boy clothes'

and with DS I wasn't interested in 'girl clothes'

pregnant currently with DC3 and not interested in 'boy clothes' so am thinking prob a girl - too early to confirm by scan tho. Will let know at Christmas time-ish

xx
