Long Flight when 12 weeks pregnant

Hi
I have just found out I'm pregnant and need to book a flight to Tokyo for work this week.
I'll be almost 12 weeks pregnant when I take the 12 hour flight to Japan. I wouldn't usually worry about taking a short flight to say Europe, but 12 hours seems like such a long time, especially wen my last pregnancy ended with a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks.
Does anyone know of any restrictions on longer flights when pregnant?
Many thanks.

I went to India when i was 12 weeks pregnant, I had my scan before i went just so i knew everything was ok.

Just make sure that you do lots of walking in the plane, and drink plenty of water.

Sorry your last pregnancy ended in a m/c, just think positive. You will be fine.

And congrulations to you.

Just make sure you walk about plenty, and exercise your legs every hour by rotating them and lifting them. Also make sure you get some good flight socks, I always wear them pg or not.
I came back from Portugal (only 2 hour flight) and was admitted with susspected PE, I laughed but A&E doc said very high risk of DVT/PE for pg women regardless of actual flight time.

Im sure you know that flying alone would not cause you to have a miscarriage, but Im sure your previous experience makes you worry about it more.

Have a good time (am would love to go to Tokyo)

If you're not having any other worrying signs, I'd guess you're fine to fly. I got signed off flying for a work trip last week (when I was 10 weeks pg), but that was because I was having some unexplained bleeding, and after a mc at 12 weeks last time, my gynae didn't want me taking any chances.

I flew to Sydney from UK at about 11 weeks pregnant and only adverse affect was travel sick which I never normally get. Also struggled with jetlag worse than normal. Other than that all was well. I did wear flight socks and drank lots and plane food has never tasted so good as I was constantly hungry. Make sure you walk and move around lots. Have a good trip.

I have flown long flights (13 hours) early in both of my pregnancies. My dr advised flight socks and also told me to ask for a bulk head seat due to pregnancy which I did and they gave it to me. Of course if you're business class then you won't need to worry about room to move
