Pain in the 'lower' region. Is this normal?

I am 29+3 wks pg.

Baby appears to be pressing very very heavily on my bowels, cervix, pelvic region. reminds me of when head engaged in last pg but I know thats not the case as 1) baby is moving too much and 2) its way to early. Pain is very uncomfortable, in particular when I stand, in fact its almost an unbearable bearing down weight when I stand. It is easier when I lying down, in particular with legs up in the air, then it throbs.

I have some leakage, a few times this morning so far, wondering if this is due to pressure on bladder?

Just checking this is normal? DH said call gp, but I don't want to be sent to hospital for a checkup if its just normal stuff to expect.

zippy thanks, managed to get 30 mins zzz on the sofa before DD came running in 'MAMA? MAAAAAMA? YOU AWAKE?, oh there you are, I fawt you was sleeping, but your not' her no not any more lovely!

Still painful today, but rather than immense pressure, its more ache between the legs and had a very uncomfortable nights sleep. So I shall take it easy from now on to try not to stretch my ligaments any further than they have to be stretched, thanks for the advice!

Oh and good luck with your imminent birth! Are they letting you go full term/wait for natural labour or are they planning to induce you early?

Weeeeell - just got back from hospital after a false alarm!
They are planning a c section at 38 weeks, but will play it by ear if I go into labour before that.Had a lot of strong BH last night so have spent the night hooked up to monitors. They've let me out again this morning, though, so maybe I'll make it to my section date (23rd)
