Everyone is always saying that I should enjoy the pregnancy but I am a bit at a loss what is so particularly enjoyable about this - obviously not helped by the fact that I was being sick from week 4 until week 16 before it finally eased off, only to be replaced by back pain. I am of course fascinated how my body can help to create a new person but it does feel that 9 months is a loooooooooong time.

Anyone else feeling the same? What do you enjoy the most at the moment?

  1. +ve test.
  2. first scan confirming viable pg.
  3. feeling the baby move.
  4. giving birth.

Bigger Boobs

"Rude" dreams complete with mini orgasms

Eating cakes/chocs without worrying too much about putting weight on

Having a bump rather than a flabby, wrinkly tum

And having a baby at the end of it.... obviously

the end of it.
Only 54 days to go, which at my current rate is a predicted 108 vomits!

Feeling baby move and bonding with it is great - feels more like a little person the more it moves.

HAve also found people are really nice to me - giving up seats on bus and tube, telling me i'm looking great when i feel like a whale, making room for me & generally being freindly and concerned for my welfare.

That said i am quite ready to be feel light again and ahve really missed not being able to sit in the sun drinking glass of wine, pimms, champagne this summer

No squidgy muffin top tummy - I'm bumpy and proud .

Oh yes, and the fruity dreams and wanting to pounce on dh at every opportunity (thank heavens ds still wants an afternoon nap) .

Having great boobs, the kicking, seeing what I'm currently calling her personality developing (she kicks if she's poked, turns when DP talks to her, and after a few minutes of being poked by the GP/MW she'll just turn her back and stop playing)

and of course I'm amazed at how my body has managed to grow another little human being, and change so easily.

All that said I'm 31 weeks and want her out and for the next stage to begin.
