Is it just me, or has being pregnant made anyone else go off sex completley??

Feel quite sorry for dp, he's on a right old dry spell i just simply cannot muster the 'desire' at all even if i did, im too knackered too sicky and boobs are sore so their a 'no go zone' too! - are the odds against us now???? Im not too bothered but i think dp may go nuts soon lol

DH smelt funny to me whilst I was pregnant with DS - wanted to heave everytime he came near me. So sex was a pretty rare thing when I was pregnant.

nope still not getting this one. Am 13weeks and having the most vivid sex dreams too. I spent about an hour just dreaming about DH's penis the other day! (at least it was his but didnt look like his in that weird thing that dreams do!)

Maybe its because I work in sexual health am a dirty cow

Even at height of morning sickness I was still able to do it just couldnt have any weight on belly else I would barf and BJ's were out of question!

Thandeka I have vivid sex dreams, but the actual act is out of the question! Last time we tried, I am sure baby wriggled more vigorously than normal, and could not cope!!

No interest at all, although have provided the occasional BJ as DH has been lovely

I went off sex for the first 5 months then wanted it all the time but due to really bad SPD we've had to abandon sex as its too painful and i cant move

Thandeka dont worry, im like you as well, im having the most vivid sex dreams, the ones where you wake up and it felt real

But i also havent gone off sex completely, in the first trimester, i was just too tired but now (im 17 weeks) im back to sex as normal before i was pregnant - perhaps im the strange one??

Not a sniff here either, and that suits me just fine
We did once in the first 12 weeks which resulted in spotting and a trip to the epu. Then I had thrush for about a month
Managed it twice on hols (put it down to lots of relaxing and quality time) but am now 27 weeks and it's doubtful there will be any more action. Kids are going to my Mum's for a week soon so maybe the pace of life will slow down enough that I'll be interested?!
I do get the odd sexy dream so there's an inkling of desire in there somewhere, but I don't feel sexy in the slightest.
DH is being great, bless him, he asked the other week if that was it now until the birth so he could just factor in longer showers in the morning
At least we both know so the comments have stopped [relief emoticon]
