Wondered if any of you suffering from SPD could help me out. I've not had my physio appointment yet (even though I was refered 9 weeks ago!) and I am having awful trouble at night in bed.

If I sleep on my side, then when I try to change positions my hips make an awful clicking sound and I can feel each side moving independently - is awful . But if I sleep propped up on pillows, I just don't feel like I've had a good nights rest!

Any suggestions would be great! I've tried pillows between my knees etc, but nothing seems to help!

Lady Em - I had it 1st time around from 30 weeks and got a slip sheet which helped at night. I'm 30 weeks now with no. 2 and have felt it since about 7 weeks. Went to see a chiropractor and that has been helping a lot, also I just don't walk ANYWHERE! Except around the house and between shops/playgroup and car. I keep telling my 2 year old I can't carry her around and now she takes her dolls to the doctors! I do have to sometimes though so keep her in front of me putting weight evenly down both legs and sitting/carrying on stairs.
HBOB - can't you insist on some outside help with your disabled child? You've got 2 whole months of unavoidable lifting that could do some serious damage. It'd be cheaper for nhs to help you for 2 months than have to help with dc AND you AND baby for potentially longer if you do damage.
Seeing chiro was best thing I did this time - expensive but worth it.
