Inspired by the other thread...

No one told me the stretching pains would be so much stronger than the first time... surely I've stretched enough already? My uterus must be like a saggy plastic bag.

You'll be eyeing up maternity clothes about three seconds after you've peed on that stick.

I'm only 14 weeks in so there's got to be some more...

That time flies by so much more quickly with second and subsequent pregnancies than it ever did the first time around. Blink and it is almost over

By the time you get to number 5 there are no more resounding "CONGRATULATIONS!" Just a slightly sarcastic "AGAIN?!" Hmmm thanks

Whilst running around after 7yr, 5yr, 2yr and 9m olds you WILL always forget you are actually pregnant then suddenly remember when you finally collapse into bed, then not be able to sleep for fear of worrying that baby hasn't moved at all for - well whenever you can last remember or had 5mins to sit still and take notice!

You will be constantly exhausted and snappy due to not being able to go and sleep whenever you need to and having stroppy 2yr old to deal with.

Don't sneeze unless you have your legs crossed. V.V important

LOL at Provincial Lady's post re not welcome at antenatals/scans with toddler in tow! Lost count of times has happened to me!

Also, people seem to comment even more on how big they think you are, along lines of 'were you this big with first?'

Stretching pains also horrendous.

Having a toddler who can climb onto your knee for a 'story read it now mummy' but manages the climb by clinging onto your boobs and managing to get easy single toddler bone and joint simultaneously battering boobs and stomach. Said toddler then gets upset when the baby kicks and says 'don't like tummy baby, tummy baby is naughty' causing huge parental anxieties about sibling bonding.

Also, the tiredness. I completely forgot how shattered I was in the first 12 weeks first time round. Nothing compared to this time, particularly when DD wants to play at 2am.
